I didn't actually make this costume; my mother did. It was my very first
Star Wars costume. Mom made it for me back in the fall of 1999, after I begged
her for it and sent her lots of links on how to make a Jedi costume. Of course,
back then it never occurred to me that I could design a custom Jedi, so I asked
for Obi-Wan's outfit. Mom made it essentially straight from commercial patterns,
so it wasn't completely accurate, but I loved it. I haven't really worn it
since I started making my own costumes, although I did sketch a female Jedi
costume concept that would be fun to make.
